Noctuid moths have ears that are used to detect bats, their predator. But what if there weren't any bats? What would happen if these moths lived in a bat-free area for several million years? What would change? How?


The Noctuid moths would lose their high-frequency-hearing capabilities due to a combination of mechanisms.
